The Challenge

Navigating Regulatory Volatility (DMA)
The most significant hurdle was the digital marketing act (DMA). I had to rebuild and redesigned the entire job suite to meet with European legal constraints. This wasn't just a layout change; it was a "constantly moving target" where a specifications evolved based on external legal guidance. I had to develop a flexible component system that ensure the team could pivot quickly without breaking the product.

Modernizing a "Bespoke" experience
For years, jobs lived in a bespoke immersive environment that felt separated from the rest of Google. My challenge was to lead the visual migration of the product experience. This required creating coherence with the broader search ecosystem—including complex elements like the location picker and universal viewer—while maintaining the specialize functionality job seekers need.

The Solution

To bridge the gap between discovery and action, I redesigned the Jobs experience using AI-driven insights to highlight critical role details instantly. I introduced a persistence layer for saved roles and automated alerts, ensuring users never miss an opportunity. By combining a refined filtering suite with natural language search, I empowered candidates to filter through the noise and find positions tailored to their specific expertise.
